OMG! So Drama la..bt it's true..the Famous S'pore Flyer..It stopped yesterday ard 5pm due to a small electical fire at the control room. What's worse..it's nt the 1st time..4th time to be exact..omg..I can't believe it sia..only thing is previous time only took 1 hr to restore the power..tis time..it took more than 6 hrs!! hmm..
There was 173 passengers stucked in it for 6 hrs +!! wah..if those rushin for time for important stuff will be feelin damn sian..lolx..was expectin a 35mins ride became 6hrs +...no aircon..no toilet..no food..no water..stuffy environment..totally sux man..haiz..saw the news tat some ppl even had to resort to urinating in plastic bags..
The more drama thing is whn the Rescue workers go evacuate passengers from the capsules..they climb all the way up..risk their lives climbed the spokes..thn in the end they only saved 10 passengers tis way using sling-like harnesses..the remainin 163 walked out whn the power restore @ 11.11pm..wah..wasted their effort sia..think they oso sian..bt ok la..we wouldn't know wat will happen next..so it's better to do wat u can 1st..well lookin @ the bright side..those 10 got to experience something different!
Overall, I'm juz glad no one was hurt or injured durin the incident..only that many were mentally/psychologically disturbed..and a boy vomitted and a old lady complained of dizziness..tat's all..Most fortunately all's fine.a really different experience in a life time..I dun think these ppl ever wanna go to the flyer again..lolx..
