Guess wat...think pz know le..lolx..There's a new addition to my family..nt a baby bt a pet..............Parrot!!
We named it Sky as the colour is lyk blue..lolx..bt it's so cute! the tail is VERY long..& pz more enthu than me lor..lolx..I was askin her on parrot care, dietary & so on..lolx..
Story of Sky
For wat I knew, Sky flew in to our house on 27 May in the afternoon. Mum came home wif lil' bro..saw something sitting on the window grill. It's blue with a red beak & a VERY long tail. Mum: "Shoo! Shoo" tryin her best to scare the bird away..it moved, it flew out then back again..-_- it seems tat it like our hse so much it's nt leavin..hahaz..
Mum: "Javin, you wanna keep tis parrot?", Javin: "Okie". So here comes the trouble..we do not hv a cage or wat..Mum quickly close all the room door 2 prevent it from goin in to our room & window as well to prevent it fly away..hahaz..then she hurried over to a pet shop near the NTUC opposite our hse & gt a 2nd hand cage@ $15..
Problem here..Mum dare not touch the parrot, let alone catch the parrot..So our "hero" Javin went chasing after the parrot to & fro the kitchen & living room..hahaz..
(Heard that when it spread its wings & fly look lyk a phoenix with its long tail) *wow..pity didn't see*
Based on observation, parrot has no thing ring on feet--thus not owned..
pupil will turn smaller whn your hand move closer to try touch it --VERY wary of human beings, untamed
keep climbing around the cage & not eating much & nt making much sound--still feelin panic, have not get used to the unfarmillar environment
wings not clipped --can fly high, high possibility is not owned. (btw Mum brought Sky to clip wings already)
Pz says this is an "Indian Ringneck Parrot" breed..my dear bb's done a research online & it seems tat outside this breed's sellin ard $300..wow! ($300 flew in to my hse! lolx) * Mum faster go buy 4D..hahaz..cos the chinese believe when birds fly into your hse willingly on its own, it is good luck (except those black birds lyk crow & mynah)

Mum went back to change to a bigger cage, (top-up $10 more..$$~..)
